Teachers must empower themselves with technology: Dr. Manmohan Sharma

 A teacher must be the master of his subject and he must possess the qualities of articulation as well, expressed by Dr. Manmohan Sharma, Professor Emeritus, Clark Atlanta University Atlanta in a guest lecture organized in JCDM College of Engineering on the occasion of teacher’s day. Dr. Manmohan Sharma graced the occasion as Key note speaker and shared his words of wisdom on the importance of E-learning with the audiences. All the faculty members and students of JCDM College of Engineering and JCD Pharmacy College were present on the occasion. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Principal JCDM College of Engineering welcomed the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest motivated the teachers to plan their lectures in advance as per the curriculum and prepare interactive power point presentations including assignments. These e-lectures must be available online to the students so that they can assess them anytime and submit their assignments on-time. It will help the teacher to evaluate the performance of the students on continuous basis. The institute can start this practice with bunch of good teachers and then other teachers may follow it, suggested by Dr. Sharma. He also motivated the students to challenge their teachers in the class by asking good academic questions. It will again help the teacher to perform better in the class. Dr. Sharma also interacted with the audiences for their suggestions and queries as well.

At the end, Dr. Dinesh Gupta presented a token of love to the eminent Chief Guest to express his gratitude.
