In this age of information, the library services are the heart of any institution. The Library (Learning Resource Center) plays a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aiding in learning activities. The primary purpose of the library’s is to support teaching, research, academic & management programs. The college Library’s is housed in an area of about 600 sq. meter having seating capacity of 320 persons at a time in two Reading Halls. The Library’s is organized into various sections e.g. Periodical section, Reference section, Book stock section, Reading room section etc. which are managed by professionally qualified staff. The Library is well stocked with a wide range of more than 20,000 Scientific & technical books for different branches like CSE & IT, EEE, ECE, CE, ME, Applied Science & Humanities, MBA, General, Competitive, reference and other discipline, catering to the needs of about 1800 members (both Faculty and Students). The library is subscribing a large number of technical National and International Journals . Also the library is member of ESDU, which offers online access to a number of journals in DELNET. Library has more than 700 educational videos. In addition to this library is also having Multimedia Section to make use of popular mode of education with the following equipment and collections:
- Ten Computers with Internet facility
- App. 550 CDs
- One LCD projector
- Approximate 50 Educational Video Cassettes
The is available to students from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all working days. In the coming session, will remain open even on holidays and working hours will also be extended.
We have installed ‘Libsys Software’ for computerization of the library. We have started a ‘Book Bank’ for economically weaker students. Under this scheme students can get all textbooks for one complete semester at a nominal charge. Xerox facility is also available in the library for students & staff.
