Convocation ceremony organized for Undergradute and Post Gradute students from batch 2018 to 2022 on 9-12-23
To confer degrees to the undergraduate and postgraduate students, a convocation ceremony was organized under the joint aegis of JCD Memorial Pharmacy College, JCD Memorial Engineering College and JCD Institute of Business Management established in JCD Vidyapeeth.On this occasion, Lieutenant General Dr. DDS Sandhu graced as the Chief guest and Dr. Gajendra Singh, Dean of the Pharmacy Department of Pandit BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, participated as guest of honour. Mrs. Kanta Chautala,a member from the management of JCD Vidyapeeth was specially present on the occasion to extend her blessing to the students for their bright future.
Dr. Kuldip Singh Dhindsa, Director General JCD Vidyapeeth along with principals of all the constituent colleges of JCD Vidyapeeth and faculty members welcomed the Chief Guest and Guest of honor in the form of a huge procession. The program started with lamp lightning ceremony performed by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
Dr. Harleen Kaur, Principal, JCD Institute of Business Management, welcomed the Chief Guest and apprised the staff members and students present in the auditorium about his achievements. She highlighted the social work of Dr. D.D.S Sandhu and his contribution towards the security of the country. She also informed the audience about the achievements of Guest of Honor Professor Gajendra Singh in the field of research.
In the next phase of the program, Dr. Anupama Setia, Principal of JCD Pharmacy College, presented the annual report of JCD Vidyapeeth. She presented the achievements of the students of all the institutions in education, sports and other activities before the chief guest.
Addressing the students, the Chief Guest, Dr. D.D.S Sandhu said that even though their education has been completed today, the real education of life will begin from today. They should face the challenges of life with confidence in whatever education they have acquired during their educational period. No matter how much success you achieve in life, stay connected to your roots. Maintain your relations with your parents and family members and take care of them.
On this occasion, Registrar of JCD Vidyapeeth, Dr. Sudhanshu Gupta played the role of Master of Ceremony and presented the students of the three institutions before the Chief Guest to receive their degrees. Providing information, the coordinators of the ceremony, Dr. Anupam Setia, Dr. Harleen Kaur and Dr. Dinesh Kumar said that in this program, a convocation has been organized to confer degrees to the students passing out from 2018 to 2023 of the three institutions.In the ceremony, more than 450 students from the three institutes got registered and received degrees. Topper students of the three institutes were honored with gold medals.
Dr. Jai Prakash, Principal JCD(PG) College of Education, Dr. Shikha Goyal, Principal JCD Memorial College, Dr. Arindam Sarkar, Principal JCD Dental College, Mr. S.L. Saini Deputy Registrar JCD Vidyapeeth, faculty members and students were also present in the ceremony.
An alumni meet of all the pass out students was also organized in the evening in JCD Pharmacy college.
