Mukesh Roa & Ishika awarded as Mr.& Ms. Fresher in “WELKOM FIESTA’21” (23-12-2021)
To welcome newly admitted students in B.Tech 1st sem and B.Tech 3rd sem(LEET), “WELCOM FIESTA” was organized in JCDM College of Engineering. Senior students from all the branches organized all the activities wholeheartedly to make the event successful. Dr. Shamim Sharma, Managing Director JCD Vidyapeeth graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the function was presided over by Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, JCDM College of Engineering. Various committees were constituted under the supervision of Dr. Dinesh Kumar(HOD ME) to manage all the activities. The students from 1st sem and 3rd sem(LEET) presented variety of performances to adjudge their talent for Mr. and Ms. Fresher contest. On the other hand, senior students also presented marvelous performances and received lots of appreciation from the audiences. A heartthrob bhangra presented by Rahul Dhaka, Sartik and Karan forced everyone present to tap their feet, whereas Haryanvi dance presented by Manjeet Mor stole the hearts of audiences. Shayri presented by Prince , Dance by Mukesh Rao, Folk dance by Kajol, Poem by Aman Singh,Manisha and Amisha were the main attractions on the occasion. Principals of all the constituent colleges of JCDV also graced the occasion.On the basis of their performances in three rounds Mukesh Rao (Mr. Fresher), Ishika(Ms. Fresher), Deep Singh (Mr. EVE), Chetna(Ms. Eve), Amit(Mr. Personality) and Anjali(Ms. Personality) were selected by the judges and awarded by Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta (Principal) along with Sh. S.L. Saini (Deputy Registrar),Er. Ganga Singh (Cultural Incharge) and Heads of all the departments.
