Orientation Program conducted for newely admitted students of B.Tech 1st and 3rd semester
To welcome newly admitted students of B.Tech 1st and 3rd semester and to introduce about various functionaries of the institute, an “Orientation Program” was organized in the seminar hall . Internationally reknownd scientist and Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth Dr. Kuldip Singh Dhindsa was the Chief guest on the occasion. Sh. S.L Saini, Deputy Registrar JCDMCOE along with Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Prof. ME welcomed the Chief Guest.
In his address, Dr. Kuldip Singh Dhidsa appreciated the students to choose JCD Vidyapeeth as their institute of higher studies. He further added that the environment and infrastructure of JCDM College of Engineering is absoultely perfect for study and professional growth of students. In their 4 years of B.Tech, they will get every chance to improve their overall personality as study and extracurricular activities go side by side throughout the year. In addition, management of JCD Vidyapeeth organizes various placement activities to help the students to fulfill their dreams.
In the program, Dr. Silki , HOD Applied Science & Humaities introduced about various functionaries of the college by an interactive presentation. Deepanjali(CSE3rd) and Karan(CSE5th) coordinated the anchoring on the occasion.
Heads from all the departments and conveners of different committees of JCDM College of Engineering were present on the occasion and get introduced with the students.Students from 2nd year were also present and interacted with newely admitted studnets in the presence of Dr. Silki and Er. Manisha Nirania(AP CSE). The program was coordinated under the supervision of Dr. Silki(HOD Applied Sci.), Er. Veena rani(HOD ECE), Er. Gurvinder Singh(Admission Incharge), Er. Tarun Anand(AP ME).
