Seminar on HIV-AIDS Awareness organized by Youth Red Cross Society on 12-01-2023
On the occasion of “National Youth Day”, a seminar on “HIV-AIDS” was organized in the seminar hall of the institute. Spreading knowledge and awareness about HIV is one of the key strategies utilized in the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS worldwide, so a presentation-based seminar was organized to aware the students about the disease. More than 50 students from all the departments attended the seminar and perceive knowledge about myths and facts about HIV-AIDS. The seminar was organized by the Youth Red Cross Society of the institute under the supervision of Er. Janardan Tiwari, Incharge YRC. On the occasion, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Principal shared that inadequate knowledge and risky practices are major hindrances in preventing the spread of HIV. Such type of seminars helps to spread awareness about the reason and consequences of this fatal disease. Dr. Kuldeep Singh Dhindsa, Managing Director JCDV also appreciated the efforts of the institute and Red Cross Society to organize the event.
