JCDV facilitating direct interaction between companies & students. We remain in touch with Industries and Corporate offices throughout the year.

Activities performed

We encouraged the students to participate in (IICDC) India innovation Challenge Design Contest 2019 which was conducted by DST and Texas Instruments. For the same 5 teams have been prepared on different topics in which 30 students are registered and Faculty mentors are allotted. Work is almost done for qualifying round and we are waiting for qualifying round result which will come soon.

Three team were successfully registered in E-yantra competition which is a project sponsored by MHRD.

  • In IICDC 2019 five teamswere registered which include 30students.
  • Participation certificates were issued for Teachers and students from IICDC.
  • If the team is short listed for Quarterfinals phase Round, then we received the TI tools worth 200$ and drive the team to submit the prototypes.
  • All team members’complete Drishti online test and waiting for results.
  • One team of E-yantra is selected for next round.
  • Ducat workshop was successfully conducted on 20/09/2019. More than 80 student were attended this workshop. The main aim of this workshop was enhancing the software skill of the students and gain advance knowledge. Expert trainers were invited from Noida.
  • There are four section of this workshop in first two sections Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering students learn about Solid works and Revit software respectively.In other two sections Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering Students learn about IOT (Internet of Things), Python and Machine Learning. Certificates were provided by Ducat Noida.
  • A one-day workshop on the topic “Data Analysis with Python Programming” was organized by the Department of Computer Science at JCDM College of Engineering, Sirsa on 10th March 2026. The objective of the workshop was to familiarize students with modern technical skills and prepare them according to industry requirements.

Around 200 participants from various institutions registered and took part in the workshop, gaining knowledge about modern data analysis techniques. On this occasion, the Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Dr. Jaiprakash, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Engineer Ashok Khaira, HR Manager at Software Private Limited, attended as the keynote speaker.

At the inauguration of the workshop, the Principal of JCD Engineering College, Dr. Varinder Singh, welcomed the Chief Guest and the keynote speaker. In his address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Jai Parkash,Director General JCD Vidyapeeth motivated students to learn new technologies and apply them in their careers. He emphasized that knowledge of data analysis and Python programming is extremely important for students in today’s time.

The keynote speaker, Engineer Ashok Khaira from Softwiz Technology Private Limited, provided detailed insights into various data analysis techniques using Python programming and highlighted its growing importance in the industry.

During the workshop, two technical sessions were conducted, where participants were introduced to the practical aspects of data analysis using Python. Participants actively engaged in both sessions and had their queries addressed by experts.

Er. Hitesh Juneja,Senior Lecturer  and Ms. Dupinder from Government  Polytechnic for Women Sirsa, were also specially present at the workshop.

At the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed to all participating students by the Chief Guest. All faculty members of the college were present and contributed to the successful organization of the event. The workshop was conducted under the supervision of Er. Aman Paul, Head of the Computer Science Department.

    

We are going to start skill development classes based on competitive exams. These classes are scheduled for  two days in a week. We conduct survey of our students and find out strengths and weakness. Topics are selected according to interest of students which can improve Aptitude, English, Reasoning ability coupled with personality development and soft skills etc

 

Memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed with four companies (VITA, Jai Hanuman Foundry, two solar companies*etc) and four MOU is in under process.

  • MOU was signed with The Sirsa District Co.-Op. Milk Producer’s Union Ltd. (VITA). Chief Executive officer of Vita plant was very happy to work with us and he is ready to share his experience. We discuss some technical problems of milk plant and how we can solve this, positively we encourage research and development for institute so that growth can possible by mutual understanding.

 

  • MOU was signed with Jai Hanuman Foundry and he discussed their problems, generally he faced blow holes during the casting process .We ensure that we can solve this problem. We assigned M.Tech Scholar student to find out technical problem. This is beneficiary for both because student wants to solve a real life practical problem for Thesis and company production. Work is in under process and some experiment was performed. Positively we can solve this problem in few weeks.

 

  • MOU will sign soon with Compunnel Digital a multinational company.

 

Company Recruitments

The Company HSF Food Pro-tech Pvt. Ltd. entered into paddy processing plant manufacturing in mid 70s to boost Rice Milling Industry with the high objective to develop & manufacture highly advanced paddy processing systems which can provide a solution to rice millers of Asian sub-continent. Ten students of Mechanical Engineering interviewed in November 2019 and four students are shortlisted.

Garg Const. Pvt Ltd is Construction Company which makes Roads, Bridges and Government contracts. Eight students were interviewed in Nov 2019 and one student is appointed as a Graduate Engineer Trainee

  • First Pooled Campus Placement:

 Infosys organized Pooled Campus placement drive for B.Tech/ M.Tech / MCA &M.Sc students of 2019 passing out batch in March 2019 from all the Engineering colleges/Universities across Haryana in the month of April at GJUS&T Hisar. Our institute participated in the joint campus placement drive of Infosys for B.Tech / M.Tech (All Branches), students of 2019 passing out batch. More than 50+ students participated in joint Campus placement drive.

  • Second Pooled Campus Placement:

Second Pooled Campusplacement drive organized by Infosys forB.Tech/ M.Tech / MCA &M.Sc students of 2020 passing out batch from all the Engineering colleges/Universities across Haryana in the month of April at GJUS&T Hisar. Our institute participated in the joint campus placement drive of Infosys for B.Tech / M.Tech (All Branches), students of 2020 passing out batch. More than 80+ students participated in joint Campus placement drive.

Executive Officer of Xonest Technologies Private Limited visited JCDMCOE on 11/10/2019. In this event CEO of company was directly interact with students and describe every details of their company. He described about which type of skills required in company. |All doubts of students are cleared regarding skills, salary, type of work and timing etc.

  • Student feedback is collected about company.
  • Resumes of interested students were forwarded to the H.R cell of the company.

Assistant Manager of Huawei Telecommunications (India) Co. Pvt Ltd. visited on 11/12/2019.He described about company needs and recruitment process for the Post of Optical Transmission Coordinator.

The following skill set is required for both posts are.

  1. Synchronous Digital Hierarchy.(SDH)
  2. Dense wavelength division(DWDM)
  3. Internet protocol(IP)
  4. Networking(CCNA/CCNP)
  5. Optical fiber(OF)
  6. Electronics (DADM, FOADM, ROADM) etc.

Four students were shortlisted and interviewed for recruitment process from Engineering College with approximate package of 180,000 to 240,000/- annum.

In India, the Head Office is located in Pune and offices in Mumbai, Bangalore & Gurugram. Eight students of Engineering College was interviewed in December 2019 and forwarded for further processing.

Nine JCD Engineering Students Selected by Bengaluru-based QSpiders

Nine final-year students from the Computer Science Department of JCD Memorial Engineering College have been selected for various roles at QSpiders Campus Connect Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. The selection was made after a three-stage process consisting of an aptitude test, group discussion, and interview.

The selected students are:
Palak Thakur, Munish Kumar, Karan Singh, Dalveer Singh, Maurya Rahul, Taruna Bansal, Prashant Sehgal, Purb Singla, and Manpreet Kaur.

They have been offered roles such as Data Analyst, Software Developer, and Software Testing Engineer at the company’s Gurugram branch, with annual packages ranging from 5.5 LPA to 9 LPA

Notably, Karan Singh secured first rank in Chaudhary Devi Lal University with 90% marks in the 7th semester. Taruna Bansal and Dalveer Singh secured fifth and tenth positions respectively.

On this occasion, the Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth, Dr. Jai Parkash, congratulated the Principal of the institution, Dr. Varinder Singh. Extending his best wishes to the students, he said that just as they have demonstrated excellent talent during their four-year academic journey at the institution, they should maintain the same level of excellence at their workplace as well, thereby bringing pride to both the institution and their parents. He appreciated the efforts of Dr. Dinesh Kumar, the Training and Placement In-charge of the institution, for this success and also congratulated Er. Krishan Kumar, Head of the Computer Science Department.
