Industrial Visit organized for students of JCDM College of Engineering

An industrial visit was organized for the students of JCDM Colleges to gain knowledge about processes in industries from 19-04-2019 to 22-04-2019. A group of 34 students from all the courses of B.Tech visited Allain Duhangan Hydroelectric Project (ADHP) in the vicinity of Manali and Jagatsukh towns of Himachal Pradesh. The project is a run–of-the river 192 MW hydro power project at the confluences of Allain and Duhangan rivulets at Prini Village of Manali (HP). The students acquired detail knowledge about functioning of different sections of the project. In the tour, the students also visited Sajla Water fall and other historical places of Manali including Hadimba Mata Temple and Van Vihar. On the occasion Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Principal JCDM College of Engineering motivated the students to be a part of such activities in future also as it helps them to explore new places and gain technical knowledge about latest techniques used in the industries.
