One day workshop on “3D Printing” was organized by the Deptt. of Mechanical Engg. for the students of polytechnic College. About 50 students from Govt. Polytechnic, Sirsa attended the workshop.Dr. Kuldeep Singh Dhindsa, Director General JCD Vidyapeeth graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He motivated the students to pursue higher studies for better future and expressed his blessing to them. Dr. Rajesh Gargi, Director-Principal, JCDM College of Engineering expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the need and importance of 3D Printing in industries these days. On the occasion, the Key note speaker,Er. Ganga Singh, AP Mechanical Engg. presented an interactive presentation on 3D Printing and discussed the process in detail. He also presented a practical demonstration of 3D Printing in the workshop of the department. Students felt satisfied with the knowledge shared in the workshop. They also participated in query session after the workshop to clear their doubts.The workshop was organized under the supervision of Er. R.S Brar, AP ME. Deputy Registrar Sh. S.L. Saini, Heads of all the departments of JCDM College of Engineering and staff members were present on the occasion.
